If you have ever wanted someone to forgive you, give that gift to someone else, when you can.

Second chances are how grown-ups stay in relationship with other grown-ups. Without them, everyone gets cut off eventually, including you.

Hold people to a standard, yes. But hold them with the same mercy you would want held out to you.
